The Cisco Certified VoIP Strobe registers to Cisco Call Manager as an approved 3rd party SIP extension. Deployed in noisy environments, the Strove blinks when a call is coming through. Supports Cisco Voice Mailbox message waiting. When the message had been played, the strobe stops blinking.
Simple straight forward set up:
- Connect the SIP Strobe to an available network point. Use a PoE enabled port for faster set up
- Register the SIP endpoint to Cisco Call Manager (achieved through its auto configured IP address)
- From the Call Manager GUI, add the SIP Strobe as a new user and extension
